Computer Science Teacher Association (CSTA) is a membership organization that supports and promotes the teaching of computer science and its disciplines. CSTA provides opportunities for K-12 teachers and students to better understand the computing disciplines and to more successfully prepare themselves to teach and learn. 

The mission of the CSTA NH Chapter is to further the mission of CSTA and to:

  • Serve New Hampshire computing educators and facilitate student learning.
  • Build a strong community of computing educators and meet the needs of the CSTA members and computing educators in the state of New Hampshire.
  • Facilitate partnerships between K12, higher education, and the industry, government, and nonprofit organizations in the state of New Hampshire to expand the computing education pathway for all K12 students. 
  • Enhance student learning opportunities in the computing disciplines and implement a comprehensive computer science education at the K12 level in the state of New Hampshire.
  • Develop opportunities for professional development for CSTA members and computing educators in the state of New Hampshire.
  • Provide policy recommendations to support a state-mandated computer science education at the high school level.
  • Make the CSTA "voice" heard by the state legislature and the business, industry, and nonprofit sectors.
